I would like to first off state how sad I am to hear Satay will be closing in the coming weeks. However, I wish the owners a happy retirement and hope they are able to relax a little more. With that said, I am in complete bliss when my delivery arrives. The food comes quickly and piping hot! The Szechuan Spicy Wontons are insane. Peanut butter flavor explosion with every bite. The Curry Chicken with Potato is arguably the best dish on their menu. I've never had such a flavorful curry dish. The Sizzling beef is delicious, the scallion pancakes are crack, roti canai is unreal. If you haven't given this place a shot, it's now or never.

Satay certainly merits a note for #thankyouthursday. Roti canai, sambal udang and achat have been spectacular spice vessels for decades. I've always enjoyed the food and service, but Satay was most crucial during the peak Covid era when I was stuck in the JC/Hoboken vicinity. Picnics at Pier A park or a quick delivery of nasi lemak made those difficult times a bit more festive. This year I've tried to venture beyond the classics to pursue more deep cuts, but the menu is so elaborate I might not get to everything.

Super tasty food. OK service (they know their place works, so there is no extra effort to smile or welcome guests, its rather cold service!), smallish portion sizes for the price point, small space(so often feels cramped) All the four stars go towards the tasty food. We tried Roti Cana, Pad Thai, Kari Sayur. All were made fresh, pipping hot and tasty.

This is a small restaurant but they did have one big table in the back. We tried various types of noodles, had the famous taro nest -abc?, chicken casserole, Malay style chicken - comes with dips, curry roti was a must! Light and fluffy. We have been here several times and tried lunch and dinner type foods. It appears that no matter what you try, it's going to be tasty!!
